Bishop. Emmanuel Chemengich, Co-founder of Mwamba Foundation

“Mwamba Foundation gives hope to youth and women who would otherwise have had no opportunity for a brighter future. “

Our Projects

Education

Because education is power, Mwamba Foundation seeks to transform individuals and communities in Kenya by enhancing education.

Leadership Development

We believe that visionary leadership is key to appropriate and sustainable human development.

Women Economic Empowerment: Skills for Young Mothers

Our Women Economic Empowerment program is designed to uplift young mothers who became pregnant at a young age, whether or not they are married or still live with their parents. This initiative equips them with practical skills to help them become self-reliant.

The training includes:
  • Tailoring and hairdressing for income generation.
  • Small-scale farming to enhance food security.
  • Basic financial management to promote saving and business growth.
  • Bead work apprenticeship
  • Advocacy against FGM, empowering women to protect their rights.

By focusing on these areas, we aim to create lasting change, giving young mothers the tools they need to improve their lives and build a better future for their families.
